Ian

Born and raised in Shropshire, Ian grew up on Treflach Farm and dreamed of escaping to the big city. 

After university in Manchester and working for a multinational construction firm based in London, Egypt and China, he realised the many pluses of rural life. 

Ian still sees some of the negatives of rural life but the ambitious community projects that are coming to fruition are aimed at realising the full potential of life on a small-scale, rural farm including living a long and happy life.
